Independence
Day
- On 15th August 2002, Mr. Anand Prakash,
Addl. Commissioner M.C.D.(Health and Education),
hoisted the National Flag. The children were fascinated
when a 55 white doves wereliberated to symbolize
the 55th year of freedom of India.

Janamashtmi
- The birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated with
religious fervour on 22nd August 2002. Mr.
Rohit Manchanda, Councillor, M.C.D graced
the occasion with his presence. He appreciated
the efforts put in to inculcate a sense of spirituality
in our young children and cut the cake to mark
the birth of Makhan Chor.

September 2002 – BABY SHOW
- AstroKids in collaboration with Leo Club, Vasant
Kunj hosted a Baby Show cum Talent Contest for the
age groups of 6 months to 10 years. Mrs.
Rachna Pandit,Vice Principal of Delhi Public School,
Vasant Kunj, presided over the function.
She was very appreciative of the show, which was
a great success.
